[ ABOUT US ]
Goals and mission
Trade union organization of foreign workers was established in response to the growing number of foreigners coming to Slovakia to work. Our main mission is to ensure that every foreign worker has the same rights and conditions as Slovak workers. We focus on combating discrimination in the workplace, providing legal advice, raising awareness, and representing members in collective bargaining. We believe that decent working conditions are a fundamental right of every person, regardless of their country of origin.
Organizational structure
The organization has a democratic structure that allows all members to participate in decision-making. The basis is the General Assembly, which is held once a year and makes decisions on the main directions of the organization's activities. Between meetings, the organization's activities are managed by the Council, which consists of elected representatives from individual regions. The Presidium ensures daily operational functioning and communication with employers. The Audit Commission monitors compliance with internal rules and financial management.
